The Unsinkable Molly Brown Art Doll Titanic Miniature

Who was Molly Brown? Margaret "Molly" Brown, 1867 – 1932, was an American socialite, philanthropist, and activist who became well known due to her survival of the 1912 sinking of the Titanic, after pushing the crew of Lifeboat No. 6 to return to look for survivors.

I created Molly with silk gray skirt, white lace blouse with silver bead accents, and white lace shawl. Atop her hair she wears a gray and white hat with roses and black and white plumage.
For the final touch, I gave her a valise and she holds a tiny copy of the news about the unfortunate sinking of the fated Titanic.

All details are hand painted, and she stands a tiny and collectible 4 1/2 inches tall, (11.4 cm).
My characters are designed from a combination of wood, wire, clay, and paint.
