Made by Mode O'Day, this 1960s dress has such cute details: The neckline folds over and there is a cage effect at the front neckline, with bias-cut bands of fabric. The skirt is full, with box pleats all around, but it lays flat with the pleats pressed. The dress is made of black and white cotton gingham, with the check pattern tiny; no lining. The dress has short sleeves and a matching tie belt. Long back covered metal zipper. The union label dates the dress from sometime between 1963 and 74. I believe it dates from the mid 60s.

Condition: Mint—as if never used.

Size: Labeled vintage size 24 1/2, I believe the modern size is about a US plus size 2X or 18W.

Back of neck to waist-16"
Waist to hem-24.5"
Shoulder to shoulder-17.25"

Please note: I measure the dimension of the item itself, and you will need to consider what size you would want the item to be to fit well on you.
