Here is a piece of chiffon100% pure silk that I hand dyed with plants, using the hot bundle technique. That means it has been simmered in a pot of clear water with the addition of some metal scraps. No mordants have been used in the dye, so it is safe for your skin.

Now, I am revealing the secret of how it can be made, in a limited number of PDF files.

You can MAKE IT YOURSELF for a fraction of a price.

:) You will receive the complete instructions on how to hand dye a piece of silk the natural way, without any addition of mordants, in a completely safe way, at home.

Once you have your wonderful piece of silk, you can make it into a wonderful unique scarf, wrap or shawl, a nice summery top or a skirt.

It is transparent and airy.

You can also felt on it and make a beautiful nuno felted top or a scarf.

I will send you the instructions in the PDF file, as soon as I get your payment, and you can start right away.

The maintenance is very easy, just cool hand wash separately in mild detergent or even better - baby shampoo, and add a quarter cup of vinegar to the final rinse to refresh the colour. Expect the colour to run slightly during wash, as with all silks.
