Antique 1870s - 1880s original cabinet card photograph of a woman named "Annie" Hudson, according to the inscription on the back. Sepiatone portrait of a lovely, pensive looking woman with pale skin and a luminous gaze in her light eyes. She's wearing a handmade lace collar, cameo earrings, and has her hair up in fashionable rolls with a bun in the back. On the back, the inscription says:

"Annie" Hudson
Sept 2nd 1846
Died 5/3/81
Compliments J.A. Hudson, 1881.

So this cabinet card has become a mourning card, a tangible memorial in her honor. Photographed by Powelson studio, 223 Jefferson Avenue, Detroit Michigan. Mounted on standard board. Excellent condition.
