Art Deco flapper necklace featuring a pendant with a huge faceted amber glass stone and ball chain dangles, marbled celluloid faux ivory beads and faceted amber glass beads. A silver tone ball chain goes around the neck, closing with a spring ring clasp. The elongated diamond shape tubular celluloid elements are especially fabulous! The chunks look like bakelite, but do not test positive. Total drop from clasp to bottom of tassels measures 21". The total length of pendant is 6 1/2". From the large stone to bottom of tassels is 4". The large faceted amber glass stone measures 1". The long celluloid beads measure 2 1/4" long and 3/8" at their widest. There is finish loss on the bezel holding the large glass stone, and a bit of verdigris. Some finish loss on a few of the tassel balls, and one of the ball chain tassels looks short by one ball. These issues are reflected in the price. A fabulous and unique necklace from the 20's-30's.
