A very unusual find -- a combination garment brush and accessory storage piece from the Teamsters' International Convention in Los Angeles in 1952. This was probably an attenders' gift or a souvenir to be purchased by an attending union member.

The top has the Teamsters' logo and the following:
16th International Convention Los Angeles, Calif.
Daniel J. Tobin John F. English
Gen'l. President Gen'l. Sec'y.-Treas.

The top is leather and zips closed. Measures 7" x 2-1/4" x 2-1/4"

There is some wear on the top at one end and some stitching coming loose in a few places. The leather portion is a little flattened. The brush is clean and in very good condition and isn't shedding.

What a perfect gift for a member of the Teamsters Union or a collector of convention items!

Frequently asked questions about KitschyVintage

Who doesn't love to get a wrapped present in the mail? I'll be happy to gift-wrap your item and include a personal note if you're having it sent directly to someone as a gift. Just let me know when you check out.
I'm happy to ship internationally, though sometimes the cost is higher than the price of the item (especially in the case of heavy items)! If your country isn't listed in an item's shipping information, please convo me to get a shipping cost. There are several countries to which shipments can't be insured. If that's the case, shipping there might not be possible.
Do you see something you love, but don't have the $$ for a day or two? I'll be happy to reserve anything in the shop for you for up to 7 days. Just send me a convo and let me know.
Most vintage pottery and glass pieces should be hand-washed rather than put in the dishwasher.

It's also a good policy to never immerse a vintage figurine or wash it too vigorously, as the cold painted features (those not under glaze) wash off very easily.
