The colours in this wonderful original 1930s necklace are so unusual. The colour comes from the intense cobalt blue (slightly more violet than my pictures show) opaque round glass beads, but the classic Art Deco look comes from the conical frosted glass beads surrounding a flat, faceted black glass spacer. So elegant!

Size: strand is 21 1/2" long (it will hang a little longer than as shown on my mannequin head). The round beads are just a touch over 1/2" in diameter.

Condition: this necklace has been re-strung on nylon. This is good since it is now very strong! The beads and clasp are all original. There is no damage to the necklace at all, but two of the glass conical beads have slight manufacturing flaws which mean they are 'dented' on one side. I only noticed this when I looked at ultra-close photo number 1! The beads are clean and look great.
