Handcrafted Squash Blossom Beads were handmade probably in the late 70s / early 80s. These rustic beauties are ready to enhance your design! Each bead is made in two halves then soldered together and the 'leaf' part of the blossom is soldered to the bottom of the bead. Beading holes are punched in the traditional manner rather than drilled. Each bead is delightfully rustic with numerous hammer marks.

Please note that these beads were made by hand in the native American tradition. If you are looking for smooth beads with no flaws these are not for you.

Each squash blossom bead measures:

30mm in total length
Round part measures 11mm x 12mm x 13mm
Leaf part measures 19mm

I have left these beads with their as found patina however they will polish up beautifully. Beads are unmarked as is common for native American beads of this era but tested positive for real silver.
