A lovely example of depression era kitchen glassware, this set of white salt and pepper shakers feature red ribbed bands, red lettering and aluminum lids. Each is made of a white milk glass branded 'Platonite.' Because they were meant to be used by the stove, this style of shakers are often referred to as 'range shakers' and were produced circa 1935. Though unmarked at the base, they are unmistakably produced by Hazel Atlas.

Dimensions:
4.5" (11cm) tall
2.75" (7cm) diameter at widest point

Condition:
Very good. There are no chips or cracks in the glassware and the lettering shows expected, but not distracting wear. Both aluminum lids show signs of use, which only adds to their vintage charm and speaks to their age.
