A group with 18 pieces of PALE SEAFOAM beach picked sea glass, hand gathered on remote beaches in the Pacific Northwest.

These pieces were chosen for their smoothly frosted surfaces, rounded edges, and are an assortment of sizes, useful for jewelry making-- or other crafts projects. Very pretty delicate pale blue-green shade.

SIZE RANGE is: about 7/16" (11mm) to about 7/8" (22mm) long. Assortment of shapes and thicknesses. Photos show overview, close-up and one photo shows the glass with a US dime, for scale reference.

CONDITION is: BETTER "Jewelry A/B Grade" (Rounded shapes, all-over frosting, may have tiny irregular spots or minute inclusions, NO fresh chips or shiny spots, overall smooth appearance), some pieces will be perfectly flawless, too.

Reference number: E-12-0005

Authentic sea glass (or beach glass) is typically the result of glass-- including that from trash and actual garbage dumps-- being thrown into the ocean, getting broken, and then gradually being polished by the action of currents and waves, with sand, rocks and pebbles acting as a "polishing abrasive." It takes many years for a sharp piece of glass to turn into the soft-curved beach gems seaglass enthusiasts prize so highly. It is not unusual for me to pick up glass I can determine as having come from containers more than 100 years old.

To learn more about me, and the genuine beach combed sea glass I offer here on Etsy, please take a moment to read my "Profile" page.

Every lot of sea glass you purchase from me will include a small "story sheet," briefly describing what "natural sea glass" IS, as well as the geographical origins of the piece(s) you received. I deliberately OMIT my personal information from this sheet, so jewelers and artisans can copy and use it in their OWN sales presentation, when they come to sell their final creations-- or you can add your own logo, if you'd like. As you no doubt know, "romancing the art" does tend to make it more interesting to potential buyers.
