Beautiful collection!! Colorful set of Noritake Occupied Japan demitasse size cups and saucers. These are Mid Century goodness dating from the late 1940's (approx 1948) to 1950. Difficult to find so many in one collection! Half of the saucers have white interior and half are colored. All identical size, design and markings.

MARUKI mark printed on all cups and saucers. All have the Noritake name. Four of the six are marked Made in Occupied Japan, two (the black and pink sets) say Made in Japan only. From my research, these sets were marked both ways even in the Occupied Japan period.

Great present for someone who loves Mid Century teacups!!

Sizes:
Saucers: 4 11/16" Diameter x 1/2" H
Cups: 2 1/2" Diameter x 3 1/4" L x 2 1/4" H

Condition:
Nr. Mint - Excellent vintage condition, all twelve pieces. No chips, cracks or crazing. Gold in great condition on all pieces! Black saucer has only one microscopic nick on the rim. Barely visible. Brick red saucer has a minute miss in the glaze. Very tiny. Over-all these sets present as near mint.
