Connemara Marble is world renowned for its distinctive interwoven shades of green which are said to reflect the ever changing colours of the Emerald Isle ; its landscape, mountains and coastline. Due to the huge degree of variation in vein and colour, the gift of Connemara Marble is truly unique and no two pieces of Connemara Marble exactly alike. Geologists estimate that the formation of this rare stone dates back approximately 750 million years.

This beautiful Connemara Marble Christmas ornament has been handcrafted in my workshop situated on the grounds of Russborough House in Blessington County Wicklow, Ireland. Each one is polished to a high sheen to showcase the exquisite pattern and colour of each piece and festively finished with traditional tartan ribbon.

All of our Christmas ornaments are supplied in a presentation box and are accompanied with a Hennessy & Byrne Booklet outlining the history of Connemara Marble and a little bit about our business.
