Striking vase, or tall bottle, from Fratelli Fanciullacci, Italy (1911-1980's). Unusual ceramic piece with a string design with a faux finish aged copper appearance. Matte black neck, rim & base. Looks like an abstract painting! Very cool for your vintage home.

Red clay with a matte black glaze and faux string texture which appears to be made of clay as well. Tones of copper, green and dark gold glazed or painted over the red ceramic.

Original label still attached: FF Italy 8417

13 3/4" H x 5 1/4" Diameter at base; 1 1/4" Diameter at rim

Condition: Excellent vintage condition. No cracks or crazing. Two tiny nicks at base, 1/4" and 1/16". Both are in the black base, dark, and barely visible on the rough pottery.
