A Sweet necklace, shield shaped cabochon of pink opal set in a darkened frame of fancy silver gallery wire. I love the juxtaposition of sweet pink against the textured dark metal, and added a freshwater pearl dangling from 14k gold wire to complete the picture.

this necklace was fabricated using the ancient art of silversmithing; each element cut, fitted carefully, and soldered together. The lobster clasp and a length of chain the only elements not made by my hand. Ready to ship, the item pictured is the one you will receive

entire length of chain including the centerpiece is 17 1/4 inches or 43mm
Peruvian pink opal measures 22mm x 13mm and 5mm thick.
fair trade stone, cut and polished in the USA
backplate measures 1 1/8" across the top or 30mm
length including pearl is 27mm
lobster clasp
patinaed, or oxidized for detail
