Mid century modern or Art Deco transitional piece. this table reminds me of furniture designed by Paul Frankl for Brown Saltman in the late 40's and early 50's. The wood is quite heavy and thick, the veneer shows wood grain and is stained a dark walnut or mahogany. The lines are simple and bold. This two tiered corner table would be a huge success in a mid century modern setting or an Art Deco transitional decor. there are a few dings here and there, but nothing that would take away from this classic beauty. The measurements are 27"x27" on the bottom level and 27" across from the corner to the middle and 42" wide on the top tiere. The highth is 23" from the floor. The shelves are 2" thick. There are no maker marks on this piece, but it is an early one.
It is steady, balanced and heavy. Local pickup is recommended. Shipping is possible but will have to be quoted. Please convo with your city and zip.
