I've known quite a few folk who studied or majored in philosophy and one thing I can tell you is that they can see both sides of the coin and the edge of it to boot! Wether it's metaphysics, aesthetics, idealism, or existentialism, it's all about investigation and rational argument. I have no idea what "rational argument" is but I'm pretty sure it's not what happens in bars over Red Sox games.

The truth is that I once lived with a philosophy student. (Once a student of philosophy, always a student of philosophy.) It was a blast, to be honest. We were young, of age, employed in minimal wage jobs, and alive. The alive part, of course, was something he could explore for hours on end while we played never-ending games of Monopoly. Good times.

If you're someone who thinks philosophy is something to think about -- or know someone who thinks this -- then you're someone who needs this poster. Because if you think that, you just are.

Includes reproduction of my hand-drawn picture of a lemur. (The lemur is a primate that lives in Madagascar.)

This work is an ink drawing by myself that has been digitized for posterity and then printed digitally on a nice big Canon printer on fairly heavy matte paper. That said, I can't guarantee that it's going to last a century (though it might just do that if you treat it right! I'd keep it out of direct and sustained sunlight, for example.) Rather, I encourage you to put it up somewhere and enjoy the heck out of it and not worry about what you'll be doing in a hundred years. Chances are you'll be living on the moon where this poster won't compare to the view you'll have there.

This poster is 8.5" x 11" and fits perfectly in a frame that's designed for works that are 8.5" x 11", like the simple (but effective!) Ikea model shown here called "Nyttja" (please don't ask me to pronounce it -- last time I tried I got a charlie horse in my tongue). I'm told you can get them at Ikea stores and online. Amazon.com has options too -- just look for something meant to hold an 8.5" x 11" document.

FRAME IS NOT INCLUDED. (Sorry to yell. I just wanted to make this very clear.)

Buy today, have it a few days later!

Have a question or want to request a custom print? Let me know! I can combine any drawing with any saying -- or your own text.
