A good choice for a beginning spinner wanting to try her hand at a bit finer fiber than the usual offerings, the breeding of this raw handcraft fleece is 1/2 Merino X 1/2 Romney. Greys range from silver to warm charcoal, and the relaxed staple length runs from approximately 3 1/2 to 5 inches . There may be a small amount of creamy white. This listing is for half of the fleece, 3 1/2 lbs. It was raised, sheared and skirted in with love right here on our farm, under the watchful eye of our New Zealand Wool Board trained shepherd/shearer/all-around sheep guru!

Please note that colors shown vary by monitor, so my written color description is the most accurate.
