No stock photos here...*The pick shown is the actual pick you will receive, both sides of the pick are shown, same design on each side, see photos.* This premium handmade exotic wood guitar pick was precision laser engraved with my original Hot Rod inspired flames, I created this design exclusively for my guitar picks. Made with a mix of domestic & exotic hardwoods, Amboyna Burl - Cocobolo Rosewood, & Black Walnut, three very beautiful, dense & durable exotic & domestic hardwoods. This pick was shaped & sanded independently undergoing a meticulous multi-stage process, & features laminated strips of amboyna burl & two very thin strips of black walnut in between two pieces of cocobolo rosewood for a simple yet sleek & custom look. This pick measures approx. 1-1/4" or 31 mm long X just over 1" or 26 mm wide, it is about 2.25 mm thick at the thickest part of the pick. The pick is treated with a special oil blend, for lasting protection I let the pick soak in the oil to ensure that the pick is deeply penetrated, after treating the wood, the artwork is then laser engraved into the pick for a detailed & clear design, I then re-soaked the pick in the oil to further protect the entire pick along with the engraving.
For some players it may take a while to get used to playing with a wooden pick, but every guitar player that I know, simply can't live without their hardwood guitar picks once put to the test. So take your guitar playing to new levels, with the unmatched performance, & the true tones that my handmade Artisan wood picks deliver. They also make unique & exceptional gifts! Thanks for looking!

A true Rosewood, Cocobolo is one of the finest and most beautifully figured woods in the world. It comes in many shades and colors. It is a rosewood that usually has a fair amount of natural oil in the wood. The heartwood is typically orange or reddish-brown in color, often with a figuring of darker irregular traces weaving through the wood. The sapwood is creamy white and may be three inches wide. Heartwood is a rich chocolate brown or purplish brown in color, with a dull sheen. Black walnut is normally straight grained and is noted for its beautiful grain character, producing a beautiful figure variation. Over the years the wood develops a lustrous patina. It is one of the only true dark brown domestic species, so it has a large following of devoted woodworkers that enjoy its rich color, and ease of use.
