Adorable teak duckling designed by Hans Bolling for Torben Orskov Co in Denmark ca. 1959.
This little duck, was inspired by the international news story about a Copenhagen policeman in Copenhagen guiding a mama duck and her ducklings across a busy intersection in 1959. (The last photo shows the Bolling duckling with a Bolling-inspired mama duck, also available in the shop). This little duck measures about 3.75" high and is in excellent condition, with just a few tiny nicks and dings here and there. It is marked marked “T.∅. & Co. Denmark”.

This duck would make a great addition to any bojesen, bolling, skjode or other scandinavian modern wood figure collection!
