This is a great vintage first aid kit from the 1930's. The colors are red, white and blue.

On the top it says:

Johnson & Johnson
First Aid Kit
No. 16
Made in U.S.A.
Johnson & Johnson
New Brunswick, N.J. Chicago, ILL.

It is empty inside. It is scratched on the bottom half where the contents would have been. The outside is quite worn and dinged and scratched. The cover has to be worked at to close but it does close and then you have to press in and pull up to open it.

The interesting part of it is the back. It appears to have had a section of my hometown city's newspaper glued to it. It has been scraped off and the image left looks like a country! You can just make out "Democrat and Ch" which would be the Democrat and Chronicle of Rochester, NY.

It measures 7 1/2" x 5 1/4" x 1 3/4".
