This tablecloth is quite unusual, showing a map of Greenland in the center and various activities of native peoples around the edges.

Really unusual to see a vintage textile depicting a seal skinning in progress! Note the woman holding the Danish flag (Greenland is an autonomous island within the Kingdom of Denmark) and the child holding a dead sea bird.

Great details of footwear and attire. I assume that is the Danish royal crest in each corner.

Love the snow falling symmetrically throughout the center!

Very nice condition, no holes. Super crisp and clean. I did see one small rust-colored mark on the backside of the cloth, exactly at one of the corners. It does not, in my opinion, detract but should be mentioned for accuracy.

Linen/cotton.
