This listing is for a 31-inch by 21-inch piece of a primitive vintage make-do patchwork quilt in the Nine Patch design. (A "make-do" quilt is one that was made with any and all available fabric scraps, so the quilter was "making do" with what she had.) The first photo shows the entire piece. The second photo is a closeup of one part. The squares are 2-1/4 on a side. The quilt was handpieced and handquilted at 4-6 SPI. The fabrics are a wide variety of 1930s prints, including some feedsacks. The back of the piece is off-white feedsack fabric. The piece is overall evenly faded. Several of the squares have slight wear/holes, and several others have small stains. The cotton batting is medium-weight and a little uneven in spots. As always, the piece is priced to take the blemishes into account.

I do my very best to accurately describe each piece of fabric I sell, but please remember that these are vintage textiles that have been used and will have flaws and blemishes, or they would not be cutters. Please feel free to ask any questions you may have. I am always happy to provide additional information about my items.
