Vintage Homer Laughlin bone dishes - 1920s white china with 18k / carat gold accent trim (3)

Like a delicate crescent moon hovering beside the dinner plate, the bone dish was a civilized accouterment of Victorian dining, and these elegant dishes came with larger sets of china

These lovely pieces were part of the place setting when fish or chicken were on the menu - a practical addition to the graceful table - use them today for snacks, serving or catch-alls

The Hudson shape was produced from 1908 - 1928 by Homer Laughlin: The back stamp reads 56 N which stands for May 1926 Newell, Virginia

The edge of every piece is decorated with a band of 18 carat (18k) gold trim, and the bottom of each plate is marked with "Warranted 18 carat gold"

Dimensions (approx.):
6 1/2" L x 3 1/4" W x 1" D

All 3 pieces are in very good condition with no chips or cracks
There is some minor gold loss at the edges and one dish exhibits some crazing
