When I found this special piece of green gingham that looks faded by the time, I knew I had to do a draped dress with it. This bohemian dress is made from multiple pieces of fabric folded, twisted and wrapped around the body to create volume and movement. All the body of the dress is hand sewn. I hesitate a long time about what to choose to make the straps. I choose this vintage fine wool blend with a floral pattern that I tea dyed (it was ivory). I canno't resist to frayed a part of the hem of the fabric in front in tribute to kilt, and to do some folded pleats on the bottom side. This babydoll dress as also embroidered seams with grey blue silk yarn, as well as hand serged hems. The woodland dress has also a tea dyed crochet like lace fabric frill at the bottom. The top of the dress is adorned with two layers of crocheted lace that I tea dyed.

I was inspired by the flapper era dresses and gave it a modern twist. I slightly changed the back straps on this one to fit the pattern of the fabric. This fabric is kind of rustic style, a blend of thick cotton and linen.

I conceived this halter dress to be confortable in summer, it is slightly fitted and let the wind keep you fresh. Its a long short style, so when you walk it moves beautifully. But, even not fitted it has his part a sexy with is beautiful back cleavage. It would make unique alternative wedding dress.

***IMPORTANT: I can't redo this dress, this is the only piece of this fabric I own, this was the end of the roll forever. Once is gone, its gone.

***Matching headdress: many customers request me a matching headdress to fit their unique bohemian dress like this one, if you want one, send me the details about the headdress you dream about and I will set a listing just for you.

***Sizing: will fits better on medium to large sizes US 6-8-10. Shown on dress from size 8.***

I would recommend to compare those measures to your actual clothes for a better fitting. I made the straps longer (this is hidden inside) so it would be easy to alter for customization.

Shown on a 35" dress form bust, 28" waist, 38" larger hips

The bust measures around 36"
The hips measured flat are 36" at the level of the bones, 46" pulled lower
Its length in front is 25" ; from the neck base
Its length in back is 37" ; from the neck base
The halter part that start from the top edge of the top, pass over the neck and join the other top edge measures 19.5". I can't add length to the frontal straps on this one, but I could adjust the sides straps. I could pre-alter this dress for you, contact me to see what I can do proving your bust circumference, over the bust circumference and any other informations that you think could be usefull.

If you need assistance for fitting, please ask me I'm available to assist you and answer to all you question promptly. I will gladly accept returns and exchanges if it doesn't fit.

Prompt shipping is my device. If I can your dress will be shipped the same day, or in anyway within 24 hours. It usually takes between 6 and 10 days to get your order. If you want a tracking and a quicker delivery in 4 days it usually around 25$ for USA.

Frequently asked questions about mynoush

I recieved many request for custom clothing orders. Unfortunatly, I can't take custom orders. I do not duplicate sold items, or make two items from different sizes. But, I do shorten straps, take a few inches on the sides to make pants or dresses smaller.
This is a question of organisation and space management.

For hats, I regularly add bunch of new hats so I invite you to come back to see if you can find the color you are searching for.

I do not take custom orders, I do clay once a year in summer. Next dreads beads will come in summer 2016.
I have customers all around the world with different sizing systems. This is why I choose to give key measures of the clothing I make. I could give you an approximation of the US size of cloth, because Im from Canada. But the best way to know if a piece will work for you is to take a similar clothing in your wardrobe and compare its measures to the one in my shop. You can send me your measures, it help. Always remember that you need extra inches to be able to move into a jacket, except for stretch tanks.

If you don't have a ribbon ruler, you can take a piece of thread, yarn of ribbon, non stretch, and report the measure on your flat ruler.
I live in Quebec, Canada. I only work with fiber from canadian farms, trying to encourage local farms as much as possible. I live near a large alpaca farm, so all my alpaca fiber is coming from there. I also work with others canadian farms to work with their fleeces, like angora goats for mohair, and sheeps for lincoln locks, cotswold, corriedale and romney. Im a big fan of textured yarn so I mostly spin directly for the locks to preserve their shape and show their natural beauty. I also dye myself all the yarn.
