When I was a child one of my favorite things to do in the early summer was cut a stalk of rhubarb and dip it in sugar. Not the best thing for my teeth, but Oh, was it delicious! RHUBARB is dyed in various shades of pink, rose, mauve, and light green.
RHUBARB is a gorgeous roving, perfect for all your fiber projects.
The unique kettle dyeing techniques used create a roving with beautiful depth, & rich color. It will definitely be a treat for both spinners and felters!

This 100% Merino wool comes from a local mill. It is thinner then most Merino top, and as such does not need to be pre-drafted. Merino spins up into a soft, bouncy fiber, with a lovely hand.

I use Greener Shades Dyes, which are non-hazardous, non-chrome, low impact, heavy metal-free acid dyes. These professional, colorfast dyes meet the Organic Trade Association's standards for organic fiber processing.
When I kettle dye the fiber it undergoes minimal handling to ensure that it does not mat or felt.

All photos are taken in natural lighting, then cropped and edited to ensure the best possible color accuracy on my monitor. Please keep in mind that colors may change from display to display. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me.

For best results when washing finished wool products or yarn, use cool to warm water and take care not to agitate. Lay flat to dry. There may be a slight color bleed on the first wash. This is normal and will not affect the colors or finished yarn or product.

Thank you for shopping Turquoise Owl Fibers.

**As a note to those who have cat allergies:
My cat is a Siberian Forest Cat. Though there is very little research to back the claim, it is widely believed that Siberian Forest Cats, especially the females, are Hypo-allergenic. I have heard of many who suffer from cat allergies being able to be around and even own a Siberian Forest Cat. I personally have a friend with a cat allergy and she has had a Siberian 9 months now and has not had any issues with her allergy.
My cat is a female, and is never allowed on or near my fiber.
