Vintage Strowger Pax Telephone Rotary Dial Monophone Automatic Electric Bakelite 1948 Working

***Reserved for Racel! Thank you!***

This old phone, made by Automatic Electric, Chicago, Il, is in Very Good vintage condition with the lightest use and age wear.

Sleek art decor styling in black Bakelite with original fabic receiver cord and updated wall cord and plug. It look like it belongs in an old detective movie!

We were told by the estate of the man who owned this that it works great and the man used it for many years. The dial creates a pulsing tone, but connects with no problems.

Body, cords and receiver are all clean and in very nice shape. The only major flaw is in the center circle, there was originally a yellow stripe where one wrote thier phone number. This strip was black out with marker at some point, but it blends in with the black of the phone. We actually didn't even notice until a closer inspection of the piece.

Measures: 8" X 5 1/4" X 4 3/4"
Weighs: 6lbs.

Excellent addtition to your home or office!
