Note: We only use genuine mint coins when making the Irish Sixpence cufflinks, hence they are very rare and the coins have perfect definition and have never been in public circulation. They are fresh from the bank roll, which is 44 years old.

Irish Sixpence Cufflinks
Cufflinks, made from old Irish sixpence coins. These are real coins. The coins have been taken from a bank roll and were never in circulation. The sixpence coin was removed from circulation in 1968 in Ireland, making these cufflinks a very special present. The cufflinks feature an Irish wolfhound, taken from the old ancient tales of Cu Chulainn.

The cufflinks come in a silver presentation box as seen in the second photo. This item is for the 6d Irish coin cufflinks.

With programmes like Mad Men, putting retro make into sytle these cufflinks will make a perfect gift.

The sixpence is also a symbol of good luck on wedding days and it is taken from the Victorian wedding poem 'Something borrowed, something blue....and a silver sixpence in the shoe'
You no longer have the discomfort of a coins in your shoe, let the wedding party wear them as cufflinks.
