This listing is a piece of a lovely antique cutter quilt in a pattern called Garden Path, which is similar to Bear's Paw or Cat's Paw but more detailed. Please click on the second photo to see the exact and entire piece you will receive. It includes two full designs and two partial designs and is oddly shaped. Through the middle, it measures 38 inches long and 16 inches wide. The fabrics are all pink and white and include tiny florals and rosebuds. The entire piece is overall faded, as would be expected of a quilt this age. There is a fair amount of wear to the pink rosebuds fabric and background fabric, so the piece has a primitive character. The quilt appears to have been made (pieced and quilted) entirely by hand. The hand stitched quilting in this piece is close together and done in small, even stitches at 4-6 SPI. The backing is solid off-white muslin, and the cotton batting medium-weight. This piece has a wonderful antique quality and is suitable for many different projects.

Please remember this piece came from a very old cutter quilt, and it cannot be expected to be perfect. While I do my best to describe all flaws and blemishes in the quilt pieces I list, there is so much detail in the handwork and fabrics of old quilts that I occasionally miss something small.
