I am happy to ship internationally, please convo me for a quote.

Tomi Ungerer is such a gift to kid lit: he combines a wonderful sense of offbeat humor with carefully crafted text and kooky illustrations to hit pure picture book gold.
Emile is an octopud who rescues deep sea diver Captain Samofar from a shark. The grateful captain takes Emile home from him, where (in a complete departure from reality) the octopus lives happily on land. He plays piano at parties, works as a life guard and even amuses people by contorting himself into various shapes such as a sled, a chair and a car. He even helps Captain Samofar thwart a boatful of smugglers and has a ship christened after him as a reward. Emile misses the sea, however, and after a gala goodbye feast, he returns home (but Captain Samofar deep sea dives to visit him and play checkers).

I have other Tomi Ungerer titles listed as well, please visit my shop to see them:)
