YOU SAVE $$ when you buy the Beginning Kit (compared to buying each item separately)!

It is not latch hook, it's locker hooking and different in that you use a locker hook, fabric strips, yarn, and latch hook rug canvas. It's an "old rug hooking technique" dating back to the early 1900's. It's a unique craft in that the yarn is inside the fabric loops, which "locks the loops in place"!

Included is my locker hooking instructional booklet designed for beginners, "The Basics: Locker Hook A Mug Rug". Follow my hands as we make a small and simple mug rug (for beverages) step-by-step, while learning the "basics" of locker hooking. It's easy, quick, portable, and lots of FUN!

When you've completed your mug rug, you will be ready to create your own patterns and beautiful rugs, baskets, wall hangings, clothing, blankets, bags, pillows, and more home decor and personal accessories. Have fun using all sorts of fabrics and materials! It's such a great way to recycled remnants!

Please read my "Etsy Policies" before purchasing. Thank you! Instructional booklet (paper or ebook) can also be purchased separately, as well as extra locker hooks. Contact me with any questions you may have!
