Meet Molly a girl from the World War II era. Molly is wearing her original outfit, shoes and socks and glasses with felt case. She has an argyle sweater, navy blue skirt, white collar with ric rac, white socks and vinyl shoes. She has never been played with only used for display. Her clothes have never been removed and her hair is still in their original braids with ribbons intact. The elastic on her panties and glasses case has lost it's stretch. She was made by the Pleasant Company before Mattel took over. Her skirt has a tag that says Made in West-Germany for Pleasant Company, she has the artist's earmark near to her right ear, she has grey eyes and a tan body. I don't have her original box but she has been carefully stored. When I bought an American Girl doll for my daughter and saw how beautifully they were made I wanted one too.
