An early, antique, English white ironstone shallow relish dish with a small footed base, elongated ends to use as handles, and fine all-over crazing that has discolored in spots.

This elegant ironstone relish dish is an early English piece, with a white glaze that has sections of dark tan discoloration, especially around the edges. This shallow dish would be useful for serving at the table, or for collecting jewelry and spare change at the end of the day on a bedroom side table. There are some tiny nicks around the ends, and one more noticable chip on the underside of one end.

Measures almost 9 1/2" long, 5 1/4" wide, and 1 1/2" tall. Marked "Stone China, H. Bergess Burslem" with a beautiful early coat of arms mark on the bottom.
