Beautiful small tin with a glamourous portrait of early film star Bebe Daniels on the lid. The portrait is by artist Henry Clive and the underside of the tin is marked "Beaute'box" and "Canco" .

Ms. Daniels is wearing a white fur (or feather) color and the background is a soft mauve-y lavender. The rest of the tin is black with a small gold line framing the portrait.

Measures 4 inches across and 1 5/8 inches tall. The tin is in good condition but does show signs of age.

Canco did a series of these tins with glamorous movie stars of the day, and I believe they may have been given away as promotions at cinemas in the 1920s.

Thanks for looking!
