These seven American School Books were "prepared especially for the instruction and training of students of the American School". They were published in the 1920s to 1931. I think that they would be great for upcycling or paper ephemera projects. However, they are quite educational and could be useful.

My favorite one of these books is "Architectural Lettering" written by Frank Chouteau Brown, an architect and author of "Letters & Lettering". It was published in 1926. Picture 4 shows this book.

Four of the books are part of the Sheet Metal Education. They are "Sheet Metal Work" Parts I - IV. They were written by William Neubecker, an instructor of the Sheet Metal Department of the New York Trade School. The publishing dates for these four books were from 1917 to 1931. They include a ton of figures, tables and illustrations. Picture 3 shows one of these books.

The "Steel Square" book has a rough cover and must have gotten wet at one time. The red color has bled through to some of the pages. This book was written by Morris Williams, a writer and expert on carpentry and building. The inside is pictured on the top of the second picture and the damage is pictured in the middle of picture 5.

The last book is "Carpentry, Part III" by Gilbert Townsend, SB with Ross & McFarlane, Montreal. It was published in 1929 and it is pictured at the bottom of picture 2.

All of these books vary in condition and I tried to picture the main damage in picture number five, which included some rust, staining and binding splitting (only on one book).

These books measure approx. 8.25" x 5.5" x .25" thick and all together weigh about 1 lb. 11 oz. Feel free to contact us for country shipping rates or any other questions.
