This 1930's CUFF/Bangle bracelet is made out of celluloid and is absolutely fabulous and extremely unique. I've never seen another like it. I believe it to be one of a kind.

Measuring 1 5/8" wide, and with an inside diameter of 2 1/2," the bracelet is a marvelous red celluloid. What elevates it from other cuff bracelets is the extraordinary red celluloid, and the stunning celluloid LARGE FLORAL SPRAY that is affixed to it.

Done in a fantastic ivory color, the beautifully carved spray measures 2 1/4" wide and is 1 3/8" long. It boasts THREE beautiful carved and etched flowers in the middle, each with a red celluloid center.

The flowers are surrounded by a bevy of fabulously crafted leaves that are so detailed the veining is apparent from a distance! And, the edging of the whole foci piece is also etched.

My hunch is the floral spray was at some point in its life a pin, and was attached to this bracelet by some inventive, creative person.

The cellulite wide bangle/cuff is in superb vintage condition with what appears to be a smudge of old glue on the top of each side of the flower (suspect this can likely be removed with some Goo-B-Gone, but, even if it can't be, it does not detract from the beauty of this piece, nor is it noticeable when worn).

This beauty has traveled the years without incident, and is lovely.

The piece is just extraordinary, and very, very different, which makes it all the more special. Should one just wish to have/use the flower, I'm pretty confident it could be removed (and, if need be, reattached with a glue of some sort) for use in a hair ornament or statement necklace: to top a mirror or picture frame or box -- for any repurposing desire.

A lovely vintage piece with definite Art Deco and Victorian overtones!

A true, unique stunner.
