This easy-to-knit mitten pattern is based on an original Revolutionary War mitten! Popular with Revolutionary War, War of 1812 and the Civil War reenactors, this mitten will keep you warm whether you’re shooting a musket at the enemy in the snow or going for a leisurely walk outside on a cold wintery day!

Kit Contents: The child's mitten kit contains the pattern and all the materials needed to make a pair of the child's mittens. Included in the kit is approximately 100 yards of 100% Wool medium weight yarn.

Skill Level: Easy

Size: Child's Small (6" in length) and Child's Large (7" in length)

Gauge: 24sts/4" in Stockinette Stitch

Care: Hand Wash, Dry Flat or Dry Clean

Needles: US 5 Double Point needles or size to obtain gauge. Needles are NOT included with the kit. Please open a convo if you would like to purchase the needles.
