Short Story Long:
This rug will throw you for a loop because it looks Iranian made, with its beautiful pattern and exquisitely tight weave, but it is made in China. The industry refers to this type of rug as "Sino-Persian," and it is gawwww-geous! Used to descibe the quality of this rug is the term "200-line" which basically refers to how tight the weave is. Those thick, popular Chinese rugs from the '70s and '80s are "90-line" quality, so you can imagine just how amazing this particular rug is in comparison. But, none of the info really matters all that much. What matters is, do you love this? Or do you love this?
This rug is a beautiful shade of deep teal, not 1980s bridesmaid teal, but 2010s bridesmaid teal, like the rich color in a peacock plume. It would be absolutely beautiful in front foyer with white, silver and glass accents. The condition is positively pristine, although its feelings may be a little hurt because no one has bought it yet. We've had this rug in stock since the 1980s, and it is pretty virginal. Add this rug to your home and amp up, well, everything. High society might just give you a ring if you've got this puppy in your house. Enjoy!
