Vintage Blue Milk Glass Plate. I'm not sure who made this plate (perhaps Westmoreland or Delphite) from the mid century (or earlier) but it is certainly very pretty. I date it to the 50's because my aunt had something similar to this in her kitchen then. It is very bright, opaque and has a cut out or lacy pattern. There are leaves and vines along with 4 cherub heads and wings surrounding the plate. When held to the light it is a bit translucent and more so on the edges. There are no markings save for a raised number 209 on the underside. It is in excellent vintage condition with no chips or cracks. There are a few "straw" marks which I think came from its time in the mold. Measures 9" in diameter. Can be hung on a wall.
