Description
The Seven Deadly Sins of today’s Western culture, which we all know, love, and generally adhere to, were popularized in part by Dante’s The Divine Comedy. Many cultures have their own version of Things You’re Not Supposed to Do, such as the 5 Poisons of Buddhism or the Arishadvargas of Hindu theology. But we've decided to take a reasonably light-hearted look at the classical version of the Sins, continuing with this pattern, which focuses on Gluttony. Mmmm…tasty food… How high can you pile your plate at an all-you-can-eat buffet? We cannot be responsible for any drool you may get on your work while you’re stitching all of this food.
This Gluttony pattern is 11 pages long and includes details on colors and stitches used in the example embroidery. It also has two views of the pattern itself: the original direction and a reversed direction, making it easy to choose which way you want the design to be oriented regardless of which transfer method you prefer. Also included are instructions on all of the stitches used in the sample. Straight off the printer, the full design measures about 4.75” long x 4" high, but it can easily be scaled up or down with your computer or copier.
The pattern is in PDF format and thanks to Etsy's new digital upload program, you should be able to download it immediately upon payment. You will need Adobe Acrobat Reader to use this file. It can be downloaded for free at http://www.adobe.com/products/reader/

I was very pleased with it as the fabrics were of very good quality, and there was a fine assortment of attractive smaller embellishment pieces. So, overall, the package was truly quite inspirational, and in my mind, I could already envision certain pieces migrating towards others! It was also promptly sent out and well secured for it's trip! Most sincere thanks!
