This is a fabulous vintage 40's fitted bodice evening dress pattern with a square neckline, padded shoulders, and kimono cap sleeves. Upper and lower skirt beautifully gathers beneath detail piping. Dress has left side opening. Love the directional play of fabric and contrasting fabric on this beautifully illustrated McCall envelope. A McCall pattern with a printed copyright date of 1946. This is a vintage size 16 pattern with a 34 inch bust, 28 inch waist and 37 inch hips. A printed pattern complete with all 9 pattern pieces and original instruction sheet. A McCall printed pattern numbered 6403. My patterns are carefully shipped between two boards for protection and in an acid free and archival safe enclosure.

CONDITION---The instruction sheet is in fair vintage condition with discoloration due to age, slight and small edge tears, pinholes from pinning together, a large tear near bottom that can easily be taped and some pencil writing. The envelope is in fair/poor vintage condition with worn edges that are split, wrinkled, cracked and torn. A perpendicular tear across flap fold. Back and flap have a stain. Notice some pinholes where envelope was pinned closed. Felt marking on front of envelope by head. This cut pattern is usable and in good vintage condition with some stains on pattern pieces, small interior slice, slight edge tear, and a tear near edge. One pattern piece has a wrinkled edge in need of some low temp ironing. Manufacturer flaws of ink markings and tiny holes on four pattern pieces.

PATTERN SHIPPING-Whenever there is an overcharge of .75 cents or more on the shipping cost I will do a partial refund thru pay pal.

Domestic-When you purchase multiple patterns the individual shipping and handling cost is less. It costs approximately .35 cents to ship the 2nd pattern. This cost of .35 cents usually covers the individual cost of shipping a pattern up to approximately 6 patterns.

International--When you purchase multiple patterns the individual shipping and handling cost is less. IT isn't quite as easy to give a quote for the shipping and handling cost of additional patterns, but the cost for multiple shipping is significantly less. Sometimes it's actually zero cost to ship another pattern because it's in the same weight range.
