Paper ephemera pack 18 vintage pages, Edinburgh Scotland history text for art and craft. 12 pages of text with one small illustration from an engraving showing the Castle as it was before 1573. 5 pages of contents and lists of illustrations - 2 of theses are blank on the reverse. Plus the title page. So many art and craft uses for these lovely nostalgic pages. Some of these pages would make great small product photography backgrounds and if you are a resin artist you could also make great badges, bag charms, brooches, earrings, gift tags, key fobs or pendants from cutouts or scans of these! And I am sure there are many more uses I haven't even thought of yet:) 18 original pages, not scans.

CONDITION - PLEASE READ: vintage paper so as to be expected there is yellowing and signs of wear. All the pages are in clean vintage condition. I gently dust each page before it's packed up and remove any REMOVABLE surface marks, apart from pencil annotations, with a white eraser. PLEASE ZOOM TO SEE MORE DETAIL. All pages are printed on both sides unless otherwise stated. IN THIS PARTICULAR PACK there is quite a lot of foxing and there are a couple of small spots of discolouration on the title page. Also since this book has been used at one time to press flowers there are a couple of pages where there are darker yellow spots!

Creamy paper with darkening around the edges, foxing and dark yellow discolourations.

MEASUREMENTS: Approximately 8 inches/20.5cm by 11 inches/28cm.

SOURCES AND DETAILS:

- 18 PAGES from "Edinburgh and its Story" by Oliphant Smeaton, published in 1904. The text takes the form of a guided tour of Edinburgh, detailing the architecture and history as it goes.

CAVEAT: Rescued from a book too battered to be worth rebinding and of no intrinsic value as far as I can ascertain.

IMPORTANT, PLEASE READ - I apologise for the recently raised postage prices for destinations outside the UK, this has been unavoidable due to the Royal Mail increases. I have worked out that I can send everything within the UK as a Large Letter so this is a saving but unfortunately this option does not exist for destinations outside the UK. However...EXTRA ITEMS IN AN ORDER DON'T ATTRACT ANY INCREASE IN POSTAGE! And...IF I HAVE OVER-CALCULATED POSTAGE I WILL ALWAYS REFUND YOU!

PLEASE NOTE: The pages in the photographs are amongst the ones you will receive and are 100 percent typical of the pages in this pack. Sorry I can't show every page but if you'd like to see more photos please convo me:)

CUSTOM ORDERS WELCOME! I have a large amount of paper inventory and will always be delighted to put together a customised pack for you. See my other listings and sold items for a flavour of what I have in stock and if you like what you see drop me a convo and we'll take it from there:)
