This small rosary is based on the Anglican or Christian rosary. I've made it with handmade porcelain beads which have been fired at a high heat and so are very durable. I wire-wrapped each bead by hand which makes this pocket rosary strong - suitable for rugged hands and lots of use.

The full Anglican Rosary is made up of thirty-three beads divided into four groups of seven called weeks. Between each week is a single bead called a cruciform bead. The 33rd bead is the invitatory bead, a place to begin the prayer time. A cross completes the set of rosary beads.

This small rosary (often called a pocket rosary or a chaplet) has one set of week beads, one cruciform bead as well as the invitatory bead and a bronze medal embossed with the Lord's Prayer and a cut-out cross. You can use it for a short prayer session, or if wanting to pray the full rosary you can simply go around the strand four times.

Length: approx 30cm (11.8")
Beads: 10mm porcelain cubes, 12mm rounds.

Attractive and unique, this rosary is ideal for everyday use or would make a thoughtful gift or addition to a collection. It comes in handmade packaging with a pamphlet explaining about the rosary and some suggested ways to use it.
