Collection of old sewing needle packets - from Redditch - the home of English needle manufacture in the 19th century. They date from late 19th century to early 20th century, and would be an interesting addition to any collection of sewing ephemera.

There are two Flora Macdonald packets - one of Rug or Tapestry Needles and one of size 10 Betweens. The other packed is by Morris & Yeomans Ltd containing Size 8 Taper Point Egg-eyed Betweens. There are some needles left in all the packets - though probably the Betweens are much smaller than you are used to using today. The largest packet is approx 2" x 1.5".

Condition is good for packets of this vintage ... these are old items, not pristine new, but there are no tears or damage to the paper. Interesting sewing ephemera for the collector.

I am mainly a button seller but often find vintage sewing stuff on my travels, so I am offering these items for sale and hope you enjoy them.
