Happiness is a cool breeze. Nose up, ears flapping in the breeze, this doxie is so excited that he's leaning forward and looks like he might just take off. I've nicknamed this one "Racer." (This is one of those pieces who just had attitude right from the start. Sometimes you tell the clay what to do and sometimes the clay tells you. )

This piece is one of my "Bliss" dogs, which have been very popular. They are entirely hand-sculpted out of hire-fire stoneware clay, and are unique, one-of-a-kind pieces. They are fired twice, with just touches of glaze, and have a sandy, stone-like surface, with natural color variations. The entire sculpture has a good solid feel to it, much like stone.

A good piece of art is a joy forever. Why buy a mass-produced plastic sculpture when you can have a high-quality ceramic art piece for the same price?

Dimensions: 7 inches long by 2.5 inches wide by 4 inches high. Perfect size to sit next to your computer monitor.
