A bit of beauty for your sewing basket~ this lovely acorn-shaped needle case dates to the Victorian era, when it most likely hung from a lady's sewing chatelaine. The holder is crafted of a goldtone metal (looks to be bronze) and is intricately etched with an elegant Florentine scroll pattern. Both pieces separate with no hindrance and fit snugly when they're put together :)

There is a teensy, shallow dent as seen in the first and third picture. The holder is a bit patina'd- I like the warm look it lends to the piece so I did not polish it. :)

Measures 2" long.
