Here is a little tarnished silverplate box just beig enough to encompass a a writhing muscular dragon on its top. The dragon holds two Kanji symbols, at a guess I would say for good luck and strength, which are drangonly attributes. This box was once hinged, but now it is in two pieces, though still beautiful. The inside is lined with wood, which is pretty clean, on discolored spot (not shown, ask if you would like to see a photo). It is stamped "Made in Japan" on the back. The last photo shows the bottom and the inside of the lid, which is more tarnished the outside. Looks like something from a noir film set to me!

The box is 5" x 3" x 1 3/4 and weighs about 13 ounces (almost a pound!).
