For Diane: one Silver Bullet with slightly faded smell, one small Lavender Chamomile for $3, and one regular Briny Sea.

Let me know what you would like a sample of, too. Thanks Diane!
:)Hilary

The smell is fading a little on this soap, so I'm discounting the price from $5.50.

A customer told me that she uses a combination of charcoal, tea tree oil, sea salt, and avocado oil to treat her acne. Wouldn't it be nice, she said, if that could all be combined in wonderful goat milk soap? Not a bad idea, I thought.... and Silver Bullet was born.

Charcoal has been used for millenia to draw impurities, such as purifying water and treating infectious wounds (but don't try that at home and then blame me if you get sick!!). The charcoal powder in this soap is from my wood stove, scooped out after a log burned down to glowing red embers. The log was from a maple tree we cut down on our own land. I ground the charcoal by hand in a mortar and pestle, resulting in both fine powder and larger, scrubby chunks.

Tea tree oil is well known for helping fight acne. I also added lemongrass essential oil, because it is good for acne and it has a wonderful fresh, citrucy smell.

Sea salt is cleansing and exfoliating. The salt in this is from the Mediterranean Sea.

Thanks to this being goat milk soap and the avocado oil in it, it will not dry out your skin while removing excess oil. Goat milk is wonderful for dry or sensitive skin.

Approximately 4.25 oz.

Ingredients: olive oil, goat milk, organic palm oil, coconut oil, lye, avocado oil, sea salt, charcoal powder, tea tree and lemongrass essential oils.

My soaps are real soap, made from scratch using the cold-process method of combining fats with lye, not the melt-and-pour type. Notice that all of my ingredients are ones that you recognize, no chemicals that make you wonder what they are or what they do to you! I use many organic ingredients, including organic palm oil. Each bar is unique, hand cut, and hand wrapped. My soap lasts a long time as long as you take care to let it dry out between uses.

About shipping: For customers in the US, I can often save you money on shipping orders of 4 or more bars if you ask me to create a custom listing for you. For international customers, it usually works out that the lowest price I can give you is what you would automatically be charged if you buy items individually. However, it you are buying a variety of types of products, such as bars of soap plus body butter, it might be worth asking me if I can save you on shipping fees with a custom listing.

Each person's skin has its own likes and dislikes, and it's hard to say which will be the best soap for people with sensitive skin. If you would like to try a selection of my soaps to determine which is best for your skin, I am happy to sell you a collection of samples for the cost of listing, packaging and shipping. Just contact me, I'm here to help!
