This is a nice, early, 20th century example of a good quality hip flask.

It measures approximately 11cm x 11cm x 2.7cm and holds 6oz.

It is a heavy, well made item with a Britannia metal body. Britannia metal is a form of pewter manufactured to give it a very silver like appearance.

It is covered in red leather. This has signs of use and a very small scuff to the front but is generally in very good order.

It features a sturdy, metal, screw cap and the cork is complete inside.

It was made in England and is stamped on the bottom "James Dixon & Sons, Sheffield" together with the pattern number L62.

This would make an excellent gift for a drink lover and will be carefully packed and clearly labelled.
