“Japanese notebooks are pen friendly and there are so many types of paper. I want to get more knowledge about them.” This product was born from such a conversation with a friend abroad. Paper Tasting is a test writing pad to enjoy writing comfort. Like wine tasting, you can try various kinds of paper and find your favorite pen friendly paper. Also, these products are packaged with paper descriptions and paper classification table so that you can know more deeply about paper made in Japan. Just like hearing a lot of knowledge from a wine sommelier.
We are planning to continue the series in the future and going to provide even deeper knowledge through it.

B6 Passepied Cream
"Passepied Cream" is a book paper that was developed for its smooth texture and ease of turning. As paper primarily used in books, the opacity has been increased to prevent the see-through of letters on the other side of the page. (Thickness 79μ, Opacity 90%)

A6 Marshmallow COC
A paper characterized by its soft touch. With its excellent surface strength, it is used for business cards, invitations, brochures, and general publications.

B7 YAMAMOTO BANK PAPER TAKASAGO PREMIUM
This paper was developed by YAMAMOTO PAPER and Mitsubishi Paper Takasago Mill. They set the following five goals for this new paper:(1) To pursue a writing paper that is suitable for fountain pens, (2) with a silky surface (smoothness), (3) that enhances ink shading, (4) that produces accurate color rendition (brightness), and (5) that has quick dry times to be suitable for note-taking.
