Keturah Morris stitched her sampler in 1808. Her great, great, great, great, great granddaughter is the proud owner of this treasure and wanted to stitch a reproduction of her ancestor's beautiful work. With the pattern created, it is now being offered to everyone.

Keturah used cross stitches, eyelet stitches, satin stitches, elongated queen stitches, and rice stitches in her work. Instructions for the specialty stitches are included in the pattern.

Pattern is black and white. Some color is used for the specialty stitches, which just helps define them on the chart.

Stitch count is 215 x 226. It is charted using 9 colors of DMC
